Wednesday, May 14, 7:30 p.m.      We close our 2013-14 year by honoring those                women who have been members for 50, 60 and 75 years at Pam’s house.                        All Alpha Xi’s are welcome!

Saturday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. –  Walk for Autism Speaks                                                  Registration is at 8:30 a.m., and the walk starts at Soldier Field, Chicago, at 10:30 a.m.

Chicago North Shore Alumnae Panhellenic Dinner and Benefit

Enjoy dinner and a fashion show to benefit Chicago North Shore Alumnae Panhellenic’s Scholarship Program.  WGN-TV’s reporter and weekend anchor, Jackie Bange, will emcee the fashion show.

After the weather got the better of us in January, come and discover your creative self at bottle & bottega–art uncorked.  All art supplies are provided, paints, brushes, canvases, ideas, aprons, etc.  Enjoy an evening of painting, fun and sisterhood!

Holiday Celebration

Wednesday, December 11, at 7:30 p.m.  Celebrate the holidays with your Alpha Xi sisters!  Bring gift for your assigned family member from The Northwestern Settlement House and a $10 one to exchange with your sisters.  Please bring the stamps from Jewel for the Rachel Ray dishes.  We will use them to get dishes for our NU Settlement House family.  We will gather at Marsha’s home.

“Tell the Truth or Tell All” Storytelling

 Wednesday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m.  Storytelling by Kathy is the program for this meeting at Suzanne’s home.  We will get information about the family we will support through The Northwestern University Settlement House and the chance to sign up.

We are selling Fannie May and orders are due at the November meeting.  All candies and gift cards are at discount prices–it’s not just a good deal but it’s our other major fundraiser!  Order forms were distributed at the Oct. meeting, and you will receive the candy at your home in late November or early December.

SAVE THOSE STAMPS AT JEWEL FOR RACHEL RAY DISHES!  We will consolidate all we have collected for dishes for our Northwestern University Settlement House family.

Join the Iota Rho sisters of DePaul for the Chicago Alumnae Pizza Night on Nov. 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Giordano’s. If you are on Facebook, check our Facebook page for details–click on the link on the right side of the screen.  Food is free for AXD alumnae!

Carson’s Days are November 15 & 16, 2013.  We sell the $5 coupon books ahead and at the store on one of those days.  This is an opportunity to earn money for the AXD Foundation and our charity Autism Speaks.
