Most people should have a will.  Wills can distribute your property, name an executor, name guardians for children, forgive debts, and more.  Having a will also means that you, rather than your state’s laws, decide who gets your property when you die.  Wills are signed by and and witnessed to ensure authenticity.

The program originally scheduled for March–Let’s Talk About Recipes–will be scheduled for a future meeting         Dian is our hostess and Veronica is our co-hostess.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Enjoy brunch or lunch in a private room at Bravo in Glenview on a Saturday–January 13–for our January meeting and fundraiser!  We’re collecting a $5 donation from each sister to help finance our many Chicago North Shore Alumnae activities throughout the year.  This replaces the meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

Chicago was the center of attention for all Alpha Xi Deltas this summer when the  52nd National Convention was held July 5-8, 2017, at the Downtown Chicago Marriott. Chicago North Shore is proud to announce that our own Bette was one of three women to be named on July 7 as a “Woman of Distinction” during our National Convention!! Congratulations, Bette!!

Have a great summer and mark Wednesday, September 13, on your calendar for the Salad Supper to start the season for Chicago North Shore Alumnae Association.

We honor sisters who receive the Order of the Rose (50 years), Pearl (60 years), and Diamond (75 years) as well as acknowledge twenty-five year members.  There will also be Installation of Officers–our leaders for the next two years.

Alpha Xi Delta alumnae from the Chicago area will celebrate Founders Day on April 22, 2017. We cordially invite you to join your sisters at our luncheon. Please also invite other Alpha Xi Delta women you know in the area. Let’s get to know each other before convention!
